Front Desk / Patient Coordinator

Aya Al-Amad

The calm before, during, and after your appointment

You know that feeling when you walk into a place and immediately feel like everything’s going to be okay? That’s Aya. She’s the first voice you hear on the phone, the first face you see at the door, and the person who somehow makes dental paperwork feel… not terrible.
Armed with a bachelor’s in Health Administration from James Madison University, Aya didn’t stumble into healthcare – she chose it. She’s the organizational backbone of the front office: gentle, calming, and impossibly detail-oriented. The kind of person who remembers your preferences before you have to mention them twice.

“Trust the process.”

Off the clock, she’s a self-proclaimed bookworm, a NOVA restaurant explorer, and someone who treasures quality time with family. Ask her about Istanbul sometime – she’ll tell you about Turkish baklava that ruined all other baklava forever, and the rich history and architecture that stopped her in her tracks.

She’s the reason your appointment runs smoothly before you even know there was anything to smooth.
